WorldTour events in Australia being held later this month
Several Isle of Man pro cyclists will take part in this month's Tour Down Under in Australia.
Ben Swift, Max Walker, Lizzie Holden and Becky Storrie have all been confirmed in lineups across the two WorldTour meetings which will take place between 17-26 January.
Holden and Storrie will compete for their respective teams in the three-day women's race from 17-19 January whilst Swift and Walker will face each other in the men's event running from 21-26 January.
They're part of a larger contingent of British competitors due to take part which in the men's race includes defending champion Steve Williams, Geraint Thomas and Oscar Onley.
Among the UK riders joining Holden and Storrie in the women's race will be Josie Nelson, Alice Towers, Isabel Sharp and Monica Greenwood.
Back in October 2024, Storrie confirmed she'd signed a new three-year deal with Team Picnic PostNL, later the same month Holden put pen to paper on a contract extension with UAE Team ADQ for 2025.
Meanwhile, Island resident Ben Swift is continuing his long-standing association with INEOS Grenadiers for the new campaign whilst Walker is set to embark on his first season with USA-based outfit EF Education-EasyPost.
The tour itself is celebrating its 25th year of running having started in 1999 with stages held across the streets of Adelaide and the Southern Australia region.
