Cycling: Bostock to contest national track championships

Manx rider part of star-studded entry list heading to Manchester

Isle of Man pro cyclist Matthew Bostock looks set to compete at this year's British National Track Championships.

The Manx competitor is included on the entry list for the 2025 event due to take place at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester from 21-23 February.

He's registered to be racing for TEKKERZ CC after reports his previous team Ribble Rebellion shut down its criterium squad at the end of the 2024 season.

Bostock will be part of a star-studded lineup which in the men's races will include 2023 scratch world champion Will Tidball; former world record holder Josh Charlton and Olympian Hamish Turnbull.

The women's events also boast a high-calibre roster which includes Olympic champions Katie Archibald, Emma Finucane and Sophie Capewell as well as pursuit world champion Anna Morris.

Last season saw Bostock and Ribble Rebellion win the team title in the British National Circuit Series with the rider himself claiming four individual race victories during the series.

In October 2024, Cycling Weekly reported that Ribble Rebellion was shutting down its crit racing setup less than a year after it launched and that it was planning on taking a 'different path' in 2025.
