Manx Missile reveals he plans to test himself at 2025 event
Sir Mark Cavendish is set to swap his cycling footwear for running shoes to take on the Paris Marathon in 2025.
In an interview with Men's Health, published this week, the 39-year-old revealed he plans to test himself at the event with his brother on 13 April next year in the French capital.
The 'Manx Missile' spoke of his desire to stay in management in cycling once he retires as a competitor and that 'it's not about stopping, it's about doing something new.'
Sir Mark also went on to reaffirm that he will never take part in the Tour de France again after claiming a history-making 35th stage win at this year's event.
He remains contracted to Astana Qazaqstan until December this year.
It's previously been reported his last race could be at the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium, in Singapore, on 9-10 November.
