Manx Missile shortlisted for 'Comeback of the Year'
Mark Cavendish has been nominated in the 2022 Laureus World Sports Awards.
The Manx Missile is one of six elite international athletes shortlisted in the 'Comeback of the Year' category.
He made history in the 2021 Tour de France equalling the all-time tour record for stage wins with the legendary Eddie Merckx whilst also winning the green jersey.
There are eight categories - including sportsman and sportswoman of the year - for the awards which will be announced at a virtual ceremony in April.
