Six teams to battle it out for title
Castletown 'A' will have home advantage going into the knockout stages of the 2021 Okell's Scratch League.
The southern side had already secured the number one ranking and a bye in the latest round of fixtures this week but the race was on to find out who would get home advantage in the match play phase.
Ramsey beat Peel A at Rheast Lane by 3.5 to 2.5 which left them second in the table as Douglas could only manage another draw against Rowany at home.
The six teams heading into the match play stages to battle it out for the title are Castletown A and B, Peel A, Douglas, Ramsey and defending champions Mount Murray.
The first contests in the next round will see Douglas at home to Peel A and Mount Murray at home to Castletown B next Monday (16 August).
Meanwhile, in the plate competition, Rowany secured home advantage.
A rerun of this Monday night's fixture between Port St Mary and King Edward Bay is set to take place next Monday.
The Port edged the encounter this week 3.5 to 2.5 and the winner of the next one will face Rowany after that.
Elsewhere, the honour of best individual player in this years league has been split.
Darryl Callister and Liam Cowin of Castletown A will share the accolade after both won all of their matches.
