
It was a painful and no doubt frustrating weekend for Isle of Man residents Cal Crutchlow and Jonathan Rea in MotoGP and World Superbikes respectively.
Crutchlow broke a collar bone when he came off yesterday during qualifying for his 'home' round of the championship at Silverstone.
Earlier today he tweeted that the bone is in three pieces, with doctors doing an MRI scan on his neck as they think he may have injured that too.
Meanwhile Rea ended up with a broken wrist and fractured collarbone after a crash in yesterday's warm-up at the WSB round in Misano, Italy.
He's due to see a wrist specialist in the UK tomorrow.
