The Island’s largest sporting stadium is to be redeveloped over the next three years.
Douglas Corporation says it has plans to refurbish toilets, add seating, install floodlights and even create accessible changing rooms at the Bowl.
Work should be complete by August 2010 in time to host events during the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games due to held in the Island.
Tony Mepham of the Manx FA welcomed the plans and says it’s not just football which will benefit (audio file attached):
