The TT 2013 festival ended on a high with three exciting Metzeler Post TT Road Races at Billown on Saturday night.
Castletown’s Chris Palmer used his knowledge of his home course to triumph in the opening 125/400cc race – finishing ahead of Callum Collister and third placed Mark Goodings.
Dean Harrison took top spot in the second race of the evening – the 250/650cc class – setting a new lap record in the process of 2.30.290.
Jamie Hamilton and Ivan Lintin completed the top three.
Neil Chadwick in 12th was the quickest on a 250cc machine.
Fittingly, after a fortnight dominated by a Dunlop, the final race of the evening was won by a member of a family dynasty.
William Dunlop took the honours in the 600cc class, finishing 24 seconds clear as Hamilton took another runners-up spot with Jamie Coward third and retiring TT star Ian Lougher in fourth.
Dunlop’s time of 2.21.297 on lap six was also a new record.
He was thrilled to end the day with victory.
