Bacchas "A" are closing in on the Mixed Hockey Division One title.
They won last night's re-arranged game against Bacchas "B" at the National Sports Centre by four goals to one.
On target were in-form Richard le Page with two, James Wright and Glen Bloxham-Mundy.
The win moves the Tromode outfit three points clear at the top. Both Bacchas and second placed reigning Champions Valkyrs "A" have just two games left to play.
The two do still have to play each other. However, Bacchas can clinch the silverware if they beat Celts in their other outstanding fixture. Valkyrs play third placed Ramsey in their remaining match.
