The Bacchas juggernaut marched on in Manx hockey on Saturday.

The reigning champions maintained their 100 per cent record in the PwC Mixed Premier Division with a 7-1 success against Ramsey A.

Doubles from Kim Carney and Jamie Brown, and solitary strikes from Tom Wilson, Tom Evans and Jo Quine rendered Christina Kermeen’s reply a mere consolation.

Valkyrs A maintained their outside title hopes with a 5-0 triumph over Celts – Ollie Webster (two), Gareth Morris, Greg Miller and Karmina Kovanda the scorers.

Bacchas B showed their strength by holding Vikings A to a 1-1 draw –Anthony Bentley-Roberts and John Verrall the respective scorers.
