It's her third national honour in the last two years
Manx athlete Sarah Astin has become a national cross-country champion once again.
The Island competitor was part of the three-strong Belgrave Harriers team which successfully defended its national relay title at Berry Hill Park in Mansfield on Sunday (3 November).
It's Sarah's third national cross-country title in the last two years as she became individual national champion in 2023 as well as helping the squad to team honours.
Sarah's sister Gemma Astin was also part of the title-winning Belgrave Harriers group last year but has been absent recently due to injury.
Among her achievements so far this year, Sarah set a new Manx women's half-marathon record in January of one hour, 11 minutes and 40 seconds, eclipsing the previous benchmark which had stood for more than 32 years.
