A general election candidate in East Douglas says the Isle of Man can expect some pain when it comes to taxes.
John Karran, 62, is a chef who describes his politics as 'just left of centre'.

The five other candidates in East Douglas are outgoing members Brenda Cannell and Chris Robertshaw, and challengers Richard Kissack, Paul Moulton and Geraldine O'Neill.
