
The Isle of Man Cricket Assoction is looking to become an associate member of the International Cricket Council, the sports world governing body.
It was elected as the 90th member of the I.C.C. in July as an affiliate member.
A squad of 14 players was announced yesterday for a pre-season tour of England next month with games against Leeds University, Doncaster and Eckington arranged.
The trip is part of preperations for the European Division Three competition later in the summer.
Former Test umpire Barry Smith is the new Chairman of the Isle of Man Cricket Association.
