Advantage Bacchas A

 

The reigning champions Bacchas A have the edge in the Mixed Premier Division.


A 4-3 victory in the match of the day has moved them two points clear of arch rivals Valkyrs A.


Both sides went into the match with a 100 per cent record.


And Andy Whiting (two), Jamie Brown and Kim Carney ensured Bacchas’ perfect tally remains.


Valkyrs, who were 4-1 down at one stage, remained in the contest thanks to Chris Caldwell (two) and Gareth Morris but it’s advantage Bacchas.


Vikings A overcame Celts with something to spare to stay third.


Kirsty Hunt, Andy Harding, Connor Byrne (two) and Katie Errock netted in a 5-1 win.


Steve Ronan replied for Celts.


Bacchas B moved two points ahead of Vikings B after defeating them 4-1 – Tony Bentley-Roberts, Tom Beresford, Susie Cox and Richard Le Page the scorers.


Breesha Foxton netted the Vikings consolation.


Ramsey A won the battle of the bottom two with a 4-0 triumph over Valkyrs B.
Thomas Tsistos, Sarah Nicholls and Hannah Nicholls were among the goal-getters.
