2025 Manx Youth Games sessions to begin next week

Sixteen sports for children to get involved in on Island

Training sessions for the 2025 Manx Youth Games will begin next week.

Children aged between six and 15 will have the chance to attend coaching for up to two of the 16 different sports featuring this year up until mid-March.

Taking place on Saturday, 10 May, the games aim to boost junior involvement in different sports on the Isle of Man and have seen hundreds of young people take part each year.

Training sessions for the different sports will begin on Monday, 20 January - anyone wanting to register their child to participate can do so by visiting the Manx Youth Games website.

Two new sports have been added for this year's programme - race walking (available for children in Years 3-9) and volleyball (available for children in Years 5-8).

A spokesperson for the event's sponsors, Sporting Club, says: "The Games showcase the island’s dedication to community sport at its best, through the work of Manx Sport and Recreation, volunteers, coaches and parents.
