2025 Manx Rally plans unveiled

18 special stages planned across two days in April

Plans have been confirmed for the 2025 Manx Rally.

Manx Auto Sport has announced next year's event - taking the occasion into its 62nd year - will be held over two days on Friday, 11 April and Saturday, 12 April.

It will also act as a round of the Protyre Asphalt Rally Championship, ANWCC Stage Rally Championship and the Manx Rally Championship.

Describing it as 'an iconic rally with an outstanding history', Clerk of the Course Chris Woodcock says it will be a chance for teams to 'sample the magic of closed road rallying on the Isle of Man.'

The 2025 format will see the first day start with a shakedown before competitive racing takes place between the afternoon of the 11 April and late afternoon/early evening of the 12 April.

This latest iteration of the rally is expected to include 18 classic special stages with around 120 road miles linking 120 competitive miles.

Having first run in 1963 the Manx Rally has been won by a number of major names in the sport including Colin McRae, Henri Toivonen, Ari Vatanen and Roger Clark.

Officials add event regulations are due to be published in the new year with entries to open shortly after.
