Younger riders need to be a part of the TTRA says outgoing secretary

Dave Moffit is being trained for her position

The outgoing secretary of the TT Riders Association is calling on 'younger people' to join the organisation.

After 37 years Frances Thorpe has stepped down.

She and her husband Tom, a former TT rider, joined the organisation in 1987 to welcome riders and their families to the Isle of Man ahead of the races.

In honour of the time she's dedicated she's also been made a patron of the association:

Frances is currently training up TT rider Dave Moffit, who last competed in 2022, to fill her position.
