Wounding accused case moved to higher court

Woman allegedly attacked a neighbour

A Douglas woman accused of wounding her neighbour has been committed to a court of general gaol.

Lorraine Marie Johnson of Castlemona Avenue appeared in court on Thursday, charged with wounding with intent to assault.

The 36-year-old is also charged with causing grievous bodily harm in February this year.

Sixty-three year-old Noeleen Bromley, also from Castlemona Avenue, is accused of being an accessory to the offence and has also been committed to the higher court on a date to be fixed.

Both defendants have been bailed.
