Police dealt with more than 100 incidents during red weather warning
Wind speeds of 107mph were recorded on Snaefell today (24 January) due to Storm Éowyn.
At Ronaldsway Airport they reached 81mph - the highest in 20 years - and at Castletown breakwater they were recorded at 94mph.
Police say they dealt with more than 100 incidents during the red weather warning; at some points more than 30 roads were closed or blocked at any one time.
Officers say whilst the weather is starting to calm people should still take extra caution if going outside due to debris and fallen branches.
