Commissioners ask for refurb suggestions

The public's views on what they'd like to see at a refurbished Athol Park play area are being sought by Port Erin Commissioners.

The local authority says it has allocated funding for the forthcoming financial year to carry out work on the play area.

It wants to know what type of play equipment people would like to see installed in the park and is welcoming any other suggestions.

The board of commissioners particularly wants feedback on: the type and theme of play equipment; what ages of children should be provided for; lighting and security measures; and public toilets

Comments should be dropped in at the commissioners' office, via email to info@porterin.gov.im or via the contact form on the local authority's website.

The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Thursday, 5 April.
