The weather has led to the cancellation of all Steam Packet sailings this weekend.
There’ll be no sailings on Saturday or Sunday at all as a severe gale force nine is forecast for tomorrow (Saturday), which is likely to cause disruption to shipping in general in the Irish Sea.
The Steam Packet has arranged extra sailings on the Heysham route on Friday evening to allow passengers to travel before the bad weather sets in.
