But Southlands remains closed following Covid-19 outbreak
Visiting hours have been extended at most Island care homes following weeks of restrictions.
Two visitors will now be able to visit between ten in the morning and seven at night, with no limits on the times spent in the home.
All visitors will need to complete a lateral flow Covid test prior to each visit, have their temperature taken on arrival, and comply with hand-hygiene and PPE measures.
These rules include Reayrt-ny-Baie in Douglas which has had the tightest visiting restrictions in place since an outbreak of coronavirus in July.
The exception to this rule, however, will be Southlands in Port Erin which has put a stop to visiting following an outbreak of Covid-19 there.
Manx Care says the guidelines will be reviewed again on 21 September.
