Disposal team 'on the way' to deal with object
Police have closed an Island greenway today after an unexploded ordnance was found.
It's been shut between Sartfell Road and Ballacurn Road – near to Sartfell Plantation.
The closure applies to pedestrians and cyclists too.
Officers say a disposal team is on the way to deal with the object safely and they expect the route to be reopened tomorrow.
