Reaction of Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan to come
British Chancellor Phillip Hammond has delivered his third budget this afternoon.
He's promised that the era of austerity "is coming to an end".
Some of the headlines include:-
There will be an extra £20.5 billion for the NHS over the next five years and a minimum extra £2 billion a year for mental health services.
Defence spending has been boosted.
Beer, cider and spirits duties to be frozen
Wine duty to rise in line with inflation
Tobacco duty will continue to rise by inflation plus 2%
Fuel duty to be frozen for ninth year in a row
On Income Tax - from April next year, the personal allowance will be £12,500 and the Higher Rate Threshold will be £50,000.
The single person allowance on the Isle of Man is currently £13,250
