Award recognises contribution to Manx life
Do you know someone who's made an outstanding contribution to Manx life?
If so, you can put them forward for the highest honour Tynwald can bestow.
The Tynwald Honour began in 2007 and this year it was presented to Geoff Karran MBE on the Island's national day.
Recipients of the honour should fit the following description:
The person doesn't have to be Manx born, but must have spent a significant amount of time on the Island and have contributed to Manx life.
And the person should demonstrate a selfless commitment in doing so.
The contribution doesn't have to be in politics but any area of the Isle of Man's culture and society.
Nominations should be submitted in writing to the Tynwald Honours committee Secretariat, Legislative Buildings in Douglas or by email to enquiries@tynwald.org.im.
The closing date is September 30.
