Tributes paid to commissioner who had 'deep love for his community'

David Radcliffe has served on the local authority since 2008

Tributes are being paid to an Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioner following his death.

David Radcliffe was elected to the board in 2008, and has been described by the commissioners as a devoted family man who had a deep love for his community.

Chairman of the local authority Peter Gunn said David's warmth, humility and tireless commitment to the parish made him a valued commissioner and a friend to many.

He was also a regular volunteer for Beach Buddies, with the charity saying its events in the south will never be quite the same without him.
