Trade unions seek ‘positive and proactive’ engagement

Trade unions are calling for 'joined up thinking' ahead of a new tax strategy, which is expected to go before Tynwald next month.

Union leaders are insisting that the 'door is always open' for government to have open conversations.

In response to the claims made by the unions, Treasury Minister Alex Allinson says there is already an 'open dialogue' between himself and the unions, but admits there is 'room for improvement'.
