
Isle of Man FA event sees 230 girls take part
Efforts are ongoing to bring everyone together to ‘work as one’ to make women and girls football on the Island a success.
This week (5 March) the Isle of Man Football Association hosted the Inter-school Girls Football Tournament which saw 25 primary school teams taking part.
Timed to coincide with International Women's Day, which takes place tomorrow (8 March), 230 girls took to the pitch at The Bowl in Douglas.
Vallajeelt United went home with the trophy.
