Treasury minister re-elected in Ayre and Michael
Now that the election is over it's time to "knuckle down".
That's the view of the treasury minister Alfred Cannan who topped the poll in Ayre & Michael with 2117 votes.
He was one of three ministers to retain their seats in the House of Keys alongside Education's Dr Alex Allinson and Health Minister David Ashford.
Mr Cannan says it's time for the Island to get to work:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
Traders on Michael Street feel 'abandoned' by politicians in tough times
