Manx Care to look at options in September
The time is now right to embrace the private patient agenda on the Isle of Man.
That's from the chief executive of Manx Care who's asked for options to be presented when the healthcare board meets in September.
The private patients unit at Noble's Hospital was closed for refurbishment in 2019 and used to increase capacity in the hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Teresa Cope says Manx Care's focus has been on reducing waiting lists and staffing challenges but staff at Noble's are keen to see the provision return:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
