
Tonight's crossing remains at risk with gusts of up to 70mph forecast
This morning's sailing to Heysham and the return crossing to Douglas have both been cancelled due to the weather conditions.
The Steam Packet Company has called off the 8am and 1.45pm departures with winds of gale or severe gale force nine and gusts of up to 70mph expected.
There's still a warning of possible disruption or cancellation for this evening's 7.45pm sailing to Heysham and the overnight journey from the Lancashire port.
Meanwhile, the Isle of Man Airport is warning its passengers could face disruption today due to the winds.
Loganair has cancelled this morning's Manchester service, while easyJet has delayed its morning Liverpool flight until this evening.

All four of the Island's Civic Amenity Sites are currently closed, while the Curraghs Wildlife Park will also be staying shut today, although staff are on site looking after the animals.
A yellow weather warning for severe gales remains in force until 3pm.
