Weather conditions have been 'particularly challenging'

The head of the Department of Infrastructure's team responsible for keeping the Island's rights of way clear of vegetation says this summer's weather conditions have been 'particularly challenging'.

The Isle of Man has over 300 miles of paths and walkways which need regular maintenance to enable public access.

Two small teams cover the north and south of the Island.

Leading the DoI's team responsible for the Public Rights of Way is Manager, Ffinlo Williams.

He told Simon Richardson more about the impact of weather conditions seen during the Spring and Summer:
