Suspect identified by police following dog poo incident

Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team issues update

Police have confirmed a suspect has been identified following reports that a Ramsey business had its windows smeared with dog poo.

It's believed the individual has now left the Island.

Court Café, on Parliament Street, claimed it had been hit with the 'act of unkindness' after a picture was shared by someone in a local Facebook group accusing a dog owner of not picking up their pet's mess outside the premises.

This evening (21 November) the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team confirmed a report was submitted to them and it's investigating.

In a post on social media it said: "We are aware of the impact incidents such as this have on our local community and will provide updates when the investigation is concluded.

"At this stage we believe the suspect has left the Island."
