David Ashford to quiz ministers over 2037 target
A Douglas North MHK says steps need to start being taken if the Island wants to support a population of one hundred thousand.
David Ashford is set to ask the Minister for Health and Education Minister about what assessments have been undertaken to growing the population - especially for schools, local GPs and at Noble's Hospital.
The target of 100,000 by 2037 was put forward in government's economic strategy, approved by Tynwald last year.
But Mr Ashford says work needs to start:
