David Ashford to quiz ministers over 2037 target
A Douglas North MHK says steps need to start being taken if the Island wants to support a population of one hundred thousand.
David Ashford is set to ask the Minister for Health and Education Minister about what assessments have been undertaken to growing the population - especially for schools, local GPs and at Noble's Hospital.
The target of 100,000 by 2037 was put forward in government's economic strategy, approved by Tynwald last year.
But Mr Ashford says work needs to start:
Safeguarding Board highlights progress on adult protection but warns of gaps in support for vulnerable children
Information Commissioner orders FSA to reconsider FOI response on staffing and pay
Waiting time for driving tests considerably lower in the Isle of Man than UK
Mountain Road closure extended until Thursday
