Steam Packet 'anticipating delays' for drivers in Liverpool as game held at new Everton stadium

Roads to close a test event takes place at Bramley Moore

The Steam Packet has issued some advice for those due to sail from Liverpool tomorrow because of a test event at the new Everton stadium - close to the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal.

Over 25,000 spectators are expected to attend a friendly game between the Blues' Under-21s and Bolton Wanderers ‘B’ at Bramley Moore.

The ferry operator says it anticipates delays, with road closures in the area from midday - two hours before kick-off.

Manxman is due to depart from the Liverpool Ferry Terminal at 3:15pm.

The roads to be closed are: Waterloo Road, Regent Road, Ten Streets Area, roads surrounding Wellington Employment Park, and roads south of Bankfield Street.
