
Actor gets involved in helping with ‘Mastering Shakespeare’ workshops
Efforts to engage more than 300 people on the Isle of Man with the works of Shakespeare have been hailed a success.
The Manx Amateur Drama Federation has completed a series of ‘Mastering Shakespeare’ workshops at Island schools in conjunction with the Isle of Man Arts Council.
They were open to GCSE and A-Level students.
It comes ahead of auditions for a production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ which will be staged in the gardens of Government House in September.

Actor Richard Pryal and Theatre Educational Practitioner Luke Osborne told Manx Radio they were impressed with the depth of Manx talent:
Auditions for ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ - which is being staged as part of the Manx Amateur Drama Foundation's 75th anniversary celebrations - will take place on 22 and 23 March.
Performances will take place on 5, 6 and 7 September.
