Care home board have announced plans to close
Staff at a care home in Peel set for closure, have said they're determined to fight to keep it open.
The Board of Directors at Corrin Memorial Home say the decision was made with 'deep regret' but they can find no way to make residency viable.
But in a statement staff say the announcement doesn't change their 'determination to fight and seek support from the local community in Peel, local businesses' and people across the Island.
A 'Save the Corrin Home' group has been setup - a further statement is expected tomorrow (26 April).
