St John Ambulance offering prescription deliveries

New service to start 1 April

St John Ambulance is doing its bit to help those self-isolating on the Island by starting a prescription delivery service.

The charity has announced it's to work with pharmacists Island-wide to help during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The new prescription delivery service will start on 1 April.

Those wishing to use the service is asked to contact their local chemist, who will arrange the delivery with St John Ambulance.

Volunteer Community First Responder duties have also been stepped up in readiness for any additional support needed by the Isle of Man Ambulance Service.

From 30 March, there will be a temporary freeze on scheduled ‘public’ courses.

Those who have booked a place, will be able to transfer to another course, later in the year.

You can contact St John Ambulance Headquarters on (01624) 674387.
