Meanwhile, Manx Care is advising patients who may be affected by the ongoing bus disruptions to allow themselves plenty of time to get to their appointments.

The health body says it's aware of the effect the disruptions and significant roadworks may have on patients - adding that if people are running a few minutes late it will not affect their appointment.

However, those who will be significantly delayed are asked to make contact with the ward/area/clinic and discuss this with them.

There's also a local charity, Care in Mann, that provides transport to and from appointments that may be able to assist some patients.

They can be contacted on 628500 or via email careinmann164@gmail.com
