MHK asks Chief Minister to extend service's remit
The Chief Minister will be asked to consider extending the remit of the financial Ombudsman to include business accounts.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse believes commercial users should be able to seek help if their account is suddenly or unexpectedly closed, like they would be able to for a private account.
Howard Quayle will give his response in this week's sitting of the House of Keys, which gets underway later this morning [Tues 27].
Mr Moorhouse thinks everyone should be able to seek the same assistance.
