Officers raid business premises in Douglas
Police have made seven arrests as part of a fraud and money laundering investigation in relation to King Gaming Ltd.
Officers say they executed a series of warrants on business premises on Victoria Road and Bucks Road in Douglas on Wednesday (24 April).
The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission announced this week it had suspended the licence of King Gaming and Delmine Ltd pending a criminal investigation.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says a number of people found on the premises at Victoria Road were subject of further immigration interviews involving the IOM Immigration Services and those enquiries are ongoing.
King Gaming is currently developing a campus-style headquarters at the former Cunningham Holiday Camp site in Douglas, with live-in accommodation for employees.
In a statement, police say 'enquiries are being conducted in close liaison with partners within the Islands AML/CFT regulatory and intelligence network to fully investigate these matters.'
'The Constabulary will not be making any further comment in relation to this matter.'
