Section of Glen Rushen road closed for tree felling

The closure is in place until the end of the month

An 80-metre section of Glen Rushen, near Glen Maye, has been closed to all users, including pedestrians, to allow for essential maintenance work.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is carrying out tree felling and clearance of dangerous trees, along with remedial works to a roadside bank in the area above the property 'Sunridge'.

The closure takes effect from today (6 February) and will remain in place until 28 February.
