A-Level marks new chapter for many youngsters
The Samaritans are reaching out to Island students worried about their next step, in the wake of A level results day on Thursday.
The charity is reminding students its volunteers are on hand 24/7 to talk through any anxieties or doubts they may have.
While some become nervous about the prospect of leaving home to start at university, others worry about finding a job.
And for those whose exam results were not as good as expected, and are now at a crossroads, there's disappointment and uncertainty to deal with.
Director of Samaritans in the Isle of Man is Gill Porter.
To speak to a Samaritan dial 116 123 - calls are free.
