Respects paid to war dead

The Isle of Man has marked Armistice Day with a two-minute silence.

Respects were paid at war memorials around the Island, as people paused to remember those who have given their lives in conflicts across the world.

A service on Douglas promenade saw veterans' groups gather, accompanied by Lieutenant Governor Sir Paul Haddacks and Mayor of Douglas Ritchie McNicholl.
