Claims a taxi from Port Erin to The Sound can costs up to £20
Management at the Sound Cafe say the cancellation of the Cregneash bus service has affected them in more ways than one.
The number 28 route was axed as it was considered to be no longer financially viable, despite concerns over the impact this would have on tourists.
Assistant manager Emily Thompson says as well as noticing 'a gap' in the number of people going to the cafe, they've also had some people reject job offers as they have no means of getting to work.
The Sound also runs the cafe at Cregneash.
Miss Thompson says they often have to help tourists get a taxi from Port Erin.
She's labelled the lack of the service 'an annoyance':
The Department of Infrastructure has been contacted for a comment.
