Debate on new exit framework expected 'this week'
Recruitment for new baggage handlers at Ronaldsway Airport is underway.
Menzies Aviation, which provides customer, ramp and cargo handling services, is recruiting 12 full-time ramp agents.
The job description states that successful applicants will be 'one of a team looking after the belongings of millions of people setting off on all kinds of journeys'.
It's despite the Island's borders remain at Level 4 meaning Manx residents and key workers are able to travel freely but must self isolate for either 14 or 21 days on return.
Compassionate and contractual applications are also considered for non-residents.
At a Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, held on Monday 19 April, Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson confirmed Tynwald members are being presented with a revised exit framework.
He told the hearing he expects 'debate' on the new document this week.
