Ramsey restaurant 'Good Stuff' to close

Owner makes 'heartbreaking' decision citing tough trading conditions

Ramsey restaurant 'Good Stuff' has announced its pending closure after almost five years in the town.

In a post on social media the eatery says it's an incredibly hard time to trade in catering at the minute.

Owner Andy Hardy says trade hasn't returned to normal levels, following a period of closure to work on the eatery, leading to them having to 'pay' to try to keep the restaurant open.

Dealing with this, whilst also preparing to open a new site in Douglas, has proved unsustainable, he says.

The new site in the capital 'Nourish' is set to open in the 'next few weeks'.

The majority of the Ramsey team will be relocating to the new site, Mr Hardy says.

Good Stuff restaurant will close its doors for the final time on Sunday, 23 February.

'Covid shut-downs, mentally high food costs, utility bills and general mayhem'
