Councillor Stephen Pitts has queries about the planned children's play area
A series of questions regarding the proposed Westmoreland Village development have been tabled for answer at Wednesday's sitting of Douglas Borough Council.
Councillor Stephen Pitts, in whose Central Ward the development would take place, has queries about the planned children's play area.
He wants to know how many square metres it would be and what discussions have taken place with the Manx Development Corporation in respect of children's play equipment at the site.
Councillor Pitts has already made it clear he supports the proposed brownfield site development which includes provision for 133 dwellings made up of apartments and three-bedroomed town houses, 20,000 square feet of office space and several retail units.
Within his questions for next Wednesday's Council meeting Councillor Pitts also wants to know what council policy is for play areas within new developments, and - if its been changed - who made the decision.
