Quality of health service care is improving says minister

Staff shortages being addressed - but it will take years

The Health and Social Care Minister says he's confident the quality of service offered on the Island is improving - but it will take years.

Howard Quayle was speaking in the wake of the recent report from the West Midlands Quality Review Service which had numerous concerns, including staff shortages and training

Mr Quayle accepts there is plenty to be done - but says whilst the report, which he had asked for himself as a back bencher - does have plenty of positives, it is "warts and all"
