Indoor dining to also start again from mid-June
Island pubs, alongside cafes and restaurants will be open for meals both inside and outside from 15 June.
It was announced at today's media briefing by the Chief Minister Howard Quayle.
Restrictions of social distancing must be maintained, which aims to be one-metre from the same date (15 June).
Mr Quayle says crowded bars for drinking only are a step too far at the moment, which is why there's no announcement on nightclubs, cinemas etc.
Other measures to be introduced from the middle of the month, include:
- Outdoor gatherings rules to change to groups of up to 30 outside, two inside (currently it's ten outside, two inside)
- Hotels across the Island will be allowed to fully reopen from this date
